8P-Scale Grille Proportions
The grille size and aspect ratio are tuned to the 8P's narrower, taller front profile — it looks aggressive without overwhelming the compact hatchback proportions.
Weather-Seal Sensor Lips
Each PDC port has a thin molded lip around the inner circumference that compresses against the sensor O-ring, keeping water and road salt out of the connector.
Hatchback-Optimized Chin Trim
The lower edge profile accounts for the 8P.5's shorter front overhang and higher bumper position, so the chin spoiler reads as purposeful rather than tacked-on.

Body Shop Notes
- Virgin-grade PP sands uniformly with no hard spots — start with 600-grit on a DA sander, then finish with 800-grit by hand along all contours.
- The weather-seal lips inside the PDC ports are delicate — avoid sanding or scuffing them; a small foam earplug pushed into each port during paint prep protects them perfectly.
